Got Strings did an absolutely wonderful job on our wedding day! They were on time, professional, and played beautifully. They added such a special dimension to our ceremony. “It's hard to believe a company like Got Strings exists! As a JMU employee, I was excited to hire Kristi and her team to be part of my big day. Something about a string duo elevates the romance of a ceremony, and they were a steal in comparison to other string musicians. Kristi, the owner, was incredible. She knows the exact questions to ask to put together the perfect ceremony for people like me, that have no idea where to start. She even had her team compose a song I requested. On the day of the wedding, the musicians arrived exactly when expected, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house as I walked down the aisle. Each of our guests could feel the love in the air. “Our wedding was PERFECT! I will be honest- music was something my mom and I went back and forth about throughout the planning process. She really wanted live music, and I was fine with a dj-I just wanted to dance at the reception! In the end, "mom knew best" and I am still so happy that Got Strings was a part of our day. Our trio sounded absolutely beautiful! The ceremony pieces Kristi helped us pick out were perfect, and the recessional- oh my gosh!!! My husband had the biggest smile on his face when the Throne Room Theme from Star Wars started playing (okay and maybe because he was officially wifed up). His groomsmen knew exactly what it was when it started too and were over the moon we thought to include something so special. So for that memory, I cannot thank Kristi and Michael enough for making it happen! Our guests LOVED the cocktail hour music, and I greatly appreciate the guidance and flexibility we were given in creating our own playlist. There was a little something for everyone and every age group. My only regret is that we weren't able to hear more since we had pictures on the other side of the building! We are so glad we met Kristi at a wedding show and learned more about Got Strings. They were the perfect addition to our big day and we highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to add beautiful music to their wedding. While they have a plethora of practiced pieces to choose from, the group is also open to adding new compositions to their repertoire. “Amazing group to work with! Me and my husband used Got Strings for our wedding ceremony, and they were absolutely incredible!! “Well priced doesn't sacrifice quality. These musicians are top-tier talent! We highly enjoyed working with Got Strings for our ceremony music! Kristi walked us through the whole process and was very through with her information. She answered all of our questions and was extremely friendly to talk to. We had a duo at out wedding and they showed up early, were professional, well dressed, and played wonderful music. They were easily heard, but were not a distraction or in the way or pictures or people's views. Kristi was very flexible with us when we wanted to custom changes to the prelude and songs which was greatly appreciated. A bonus plus is that they are JMU students which as alum we loved!
